This reminds me of a joke, John Dewey (of Decimal System fame) was attending a lecture and someone asked him: "Don't those two men look alike?" He replied: "Yes especially the one on the right."
I'm not really clear why John Dewey is the philosopher in this case, but it may have some significance.
